ABSTRACT

Duplicate detection is the method of characteristic duplicate records in an exceedingly system. This paper proposes the minimization of average execution time in duplicate detection strategies. Detection algorithms used are: 1) Progressive sorted neighborhood method 2) Progressive obstruction algorithms. The aim of this paper is to method larger data set in ever shorter time. A progressive duplicate detection algorithm improves the potency of finding duplicates within the shorter execution time. It improves the efficiency on detection in Parallel approach. It finds maximum range of duplicates in a very short time periods and reduces average time. The execution time is reduced by sharing the resources in several location of memory Area.
