ABSTRACT

Corrosion resistance of mild steel (MS) immersed in Simulated Produced Water (SPW) has been investigated by polarization study. When Sodium Potassium Tartrate (SPT) is added corrosion resistance of mild steel decreases. When Zn2+ is added to SPW + SPT system corrosion resistance of MS increases.
